Anti-inflammatory Diet
Does anyone adhere to a mostly anti-inflammatory diet? I am considering it to see if it helps with symptoms
No gluten no dairy no nightshades no booze no smokes no coffee. Now don’t have celiacs so if I have some gluten it won’t be the end of the world. If I am out and there happens a cheese plate I may have a nibble etc etc. I make the effort keep it all out of my day to day. Does it work? It will improve my overall health either way and I feel diet is one thing within my control so I do my best
It helped me massively. Everyone is different though so there might be some foods that fall in the anti inflammatory category that could trigger a flare up so still a lil trial an error needed.
Celery, Turmeric, Ginger Lemons, Limes Cranberries, juiced with ACV and an apple for flavour knocked my inflammation right down when I did a juice fast. Carrots and Beets are good too.
Just cutting out all the main bad sources like sugar, milk, refined carbs, processed stuffs will help to start with. Natural sugars in fruits don't have the same undesirable affect as refined processed sugar does and full of live enzymes but still better to have in moderation, so don't go crazy but just do it, it can only help.
Nightshade vegetables such as tomatoes, have read on some sites that tomatoes are helpful while others say don’t eat them. Thoughts?
I have followed and anti-inflammatory diet for 2 1/2 years. I believe it’s one of the keys to keeping my inflammation levels low and less flares.
Yes, Absolutely has helped me! Check out the Paddison Program. Lots of helpful info and videos, many of which are free and if you join. $147 per year. I have not joined yet, still considering that.
