Yes, rheumatoid arthritis (RA) can cause pain and tenderness in various joints, including the chest bone and collarbone. Members of myRAteam have reported experiencing pain in these areas:
- Chest Bone: One member mentioned chest pain where the ribs join the breastbone, with swelling in the collarbone area
- Collarbone: Show Full Answer
It is weird! I thought I was " getting better" but the past few days I've had more pain and swelling. I see the RA Dr at the end of the month. My luck I won't be hurting or swelling at the appointment.
