Been on methotrexate for over 20 years and yes it can cause breathing problems which is usually what it does on the day I take and then kind of subsides until its time for the next weekly dose. Oh, and RA can inflame the lungs and a perso can develope RA nodules on them also. *Im 73 and was diaged at age 25.

Hi Eileen, there you are. Glad to see you back on here. Sorry you are having these problems. I am also taking Methotrexate but have not been having any breathing problems as yet. Hope you are able to get things straightened out. It's miserable being in pain and breathing problems are no fun either.
