I have not had any problems with redness. Sometimes the injection is painful and I have discovered that’s because I am tense and use too much force or pressure.

It's common to experience some discomfort, redness, and tenderness at the injection site. Here are a few tips to help manage these side effects:

- Rotate Injection Sites: Avoid using the same site repeatedly to prevent soreness and scar tissue buildup.
- Ice the Injection Site: Use an ice pack or ice cube to numb the area before and after injecting to reduce pain and swelling.
- Pinch the Skin: Pinching the skin around the injection site before and during the injection can help.
- Let Alcohol Dry: Ensure the alcohol used to clean the site dries completely before injecting.

If these reactions persist or worsen, it's important to discuss them with your healthcare team.

Thank you Lori
I’m wondering if I’m not waiting long enough for the medication to reach room temperature. Thank you for your suggestion

My rheumatologist said to wait 30-60 minutes after removing my injection from the refrigerator. It is very important to rotate injection sites. Best of luck to you!
