How Much Vitamin D3 Does Everyone Take?

My doctor said my blood work was good on vitamin D, but I see most every takes it for Autoimmune RA, and my Aunt suggested it to. Just dont know how much milligrams. Thank you!

Thatโ€™s a great question. One that I go back and forth on after watching Dr. Judson Somerville author of The Optimal Dose Vit. D3. In this video.

I, myself, have never been able to get to the levels he suggests BUT I am at 10,000 iu. I feel really good at this amount and my sleep is amazingly really good!

I would take at least D2-3000mg to get started. You can always raise it up. It depends on how big you are also. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's best to ask your doctor. If your vitamin D levels are good I wouldn't think you'd need a high dose. A person can get too much vitamin D and it's pretty dangerous. Good luck with it.
