I also have dry eyes and for the past 3 years a lot of dental work. I’m now fighting a skin rash that constantly itches. It she one day at a time because I know I’ll have a good day🤗

Yes I get them checked routinely while taking plaquinil.

Hi, I have really dry eyes which I have been told is common with RA. I’m on eye drops and prescription eye drops to help with it ans still have problems. Just make sure you get your eyes checked while on planquenil. Also, a good while back I lost several teeth that had root canals because of RA. Only the ones with root canals?? How much Plaquenil sre you taking if you dont mind me asking? And do you have side affects?

I was taking 200 mg for about 5 months, at 3 months my blood work was normal Dr. said more than likely due to medication at but still had about 60% pain, doctor said to increase if I had the pain, I increased to 400mg. Been taking for approximately 3 weeks, but I have been super nauseated, dont have appetite, lost weight, sleep issues and a lot of anxiety, grinding my teeth alot.

I reduced it back yesterday to 200mg I couldnt take the side affects. I see the Rheumatologist next week.
Im going to keep doing other alternatives for pain as long as bloodwork stable.

I know it’s really scary for us with medication. I’m also on planquenil and suppose to be taking Amjevita but just haven’t started it yet. Don’t know if I will. So sad for us. Hugs.
