Swollen Knee
Has anyone experienced swollen knees that just will not go down !!I have had mine for 5 weeks now ! I had steroid injection 3 weeks ago and they didn’t help at all , I get a shooting pain from my groin to my knee , I’ve seen a chiropractor for that , who thinks it maybe a trapped nerve , but not sure about the knee problem, any advice would be appreciated
I had pinched nerves at the L5-S1 location. A regular x-ray showed the disc at that point just blew out. No disc st all. It could be a herniated disc at same location.
I'm currently taking Enbril once a week, chydroxichloroquine 200 MG twice a day, Meloxicam 1 a day. I cannot sleep so I'm on Trazadone 100 MG tab. For pain 1 have hydrocodone 5/325 one a day usually just before bed. I still get flairups, then I have Prednisone 20 MG once a day for 5 days.
It's sounds like sciatica I've similar. I have been prescribed Naproxen which has helped.
The nerve was off of the L2 vertebrae if I remember correctly. Good luck.
The same thing happened to me after a meniscus tear it was my saphenous nerve trapped in the muscle. The pain was awful went to pain management and had a right selective epidural. He burned the nerve and I NEVER had pain again. You are sedated for this.
