Sorry for delay in my response Dennis. I hope that you're well.
I had one steriod injection in 2021 and it did help. I have to avoid steriod injections due to bone thinning a d oestopenia.
Hi
Have you had a steroid injection since covid infection?and did it work?
Hi I was diagnosed with RA in 2010 after taking Tamiflu for Swine Flu. Unfortunately I contracted COVID19 in Jan 2021 and have had Post Covid Syndrome since then - fatigue, anxiety, breathlessness, cognitive issues brain fog, joint and muscle pain. I have seen a significant increase in flare ups in hands, fingers, wrists, feet and ankles. I have pain in other joints too since having covid- shoulders, knees, hips and back. Sometimes difficult to work out whether it is RA, post covid or both or progression of RA. Also immunity has been significantly impacted infection after infection, infection in nose, 2 x Urinary Tract infections, followed by UK 'Super Flu' both before and after Christmas despite flu vaccinations and flares.
Crazy but trying to remain positive. It feels that in UK still lack of knowledge and research re impact on RA of covid. Hopefully we will learn more so treatment plans can be put in place.
I Have A Question On Medications.
Has Anyone Tried The Wim Hof Method?
Has Anyone Taken The Covid Vaccine? Which Brand? And Do You Experience Any Side Effects?
