Is There A Relationship Between A Ganglion Cyst On The Wrist And Rheumatoid Arthritis?
I’ve had several occasions where I felt a pop on the back of my wrist which has since been diagnosed as a ganglion cyst. I think it’s related to my rheumatoid arthritis, but I can’t say for sure.
Hang in there Reebok, looks like you will be taking the same road I did! Good luck to you and I pray your ganglion leave your hand/wrist soon enough. Take care 🌻💜
Thank you. That makes me feel better. I’m wearing a wrist race and I go back to the orthopedist on January 11 to see what else needs to be done.
I had a big one on the back of my hand l showed my Dr.He picked up a book and bashed my hand boom it was gone.
Hi Reebok, indeed there is. My Rhuematologist even told me that methotrexate could produce them and lowered my dose. My right hand/wrist has a nasty ganglion over the top of it. Had an MRI to see if it's possible to remove as it has affected my range of motion. I am waiting to hear the outcome. Hope you seek help and that you are not in too much pain. I'm sorry you have a ganglion too.
