I use the devices you mentioned, and they are so helpful.
I have also found devices that allow me to apply pressure to sore areas help in reliving the pain. I have a Theracane that is useful for reaching pressure points on my back or shoulders and hips. you can look it up on the internet and see examples of people using it.

I have also found 2 tennis balls inside a sock that is knotted at the top are useful for under feet on the floor and then roll your feet back and forth. the same sock/tennis balls can be made with more balls and can be used for shoulders and low back to massage between your body and a plain wall.

I have extended shoe horns and the long handle grabbers. I also keep a cane next to my bed, one next to the front door and a 3rd in the kitchen.
