Can you take some at bedtime and some when you wake? Tell your rheumy and ask his/her advice. Is it time for a new mattress? I hate to pay the prices they want, but sleep and less/no pain is worth the price. Ask hubby to monitor your body sleeping positions. Tweeting that with a body pillow might help. Also, Yoga class could help with flexibility. I used, and still do, wake in the am and have to be drug out of bed. My arms and legs rusted while I slept! So my rheumy adjusted my meds where I can grab a little more sleep. I sleep in a sitting position. Absolute no flat on back sleeping! I would not be able to get up for 2 days if I even tried to lay down that way.

Good luck! I’m sure these wiser than I am ladies and gentlemen could share better secrets than I have learned.

Soft hugs and gentle wind blown kisses to your cheeks!πŸ˜‡πŸ₯°

Just hang in there! Your adrenal glands pump out about 10 mgs of corticosteroids a day. If you take any more, it should be upon the advice of your physician and is usually on a decreasing dose. Like a dose pack. Our MS patients were on higher doses for short periods of time to try to force their MS into remission. In April, I hope your quality of life improvement! I don’t know how to add you to my team unless that box is at the bottom. If you can add me, then I’ll be able to add you.
Soft hugs and fairy whisper kisses coming your way along with prayers! Take care and keep stress away from you, if possible! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

I haven't seen a rheumatologist yet. I have been waiting for 4 months for appt. It is on April 18th. For, now, I have a GP and Neurosurgeon. Thanks for the advice! I take 20 mgs of Prednisone every morning. I don't know if it is safe for me to take more. Everything is new to me and I don't have much support from family and I have no friends to turn to or rely on. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
