Canes??
I have rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and osteoporosis. I currently have a broken bone in my foot and I’m using a walking boot.
Since this is my fifth break I know how to handle the break itself.
However, I feel like I need a little extra support, especially with the extreme hip pain that I have not had alongside my other breaks.
So I’m looking for CANE suggestions.
Types, brands, and tips.
Whatcha got? 🙂
When I was about to have my knee replaced, I just bought a cane at CVS/Pharmacy. It worked just fine and didn't look like a godawful "little old lady" cane, LOL.
I order from exquisitecanes.com and they have some really pretty ones.
Haven't bought one but i know Walgreens has some really pretty ones
I bought my cane at Walmart. They also have a 4-point rubber bottom to widen your balance & gives me mental support too on ice & snow. Hope that helps.
I use walking poles, takes some of the pressure off feet, legs, back. I use the brand Urban Polling, designed with a large rubber comfy grip for right and left hand, molded. Looks similar to this technique.
