I am wondering if fresh tomatoes, tomato sauce, etc. Are inflammatory for RA? Also potatoes?

I have a sensitive stomach. Some days I wake up with stomach pain and nausea that usually last two days. I avoid tomatoe based foods if I’m having stomach issues because they seem to make it hurt worse. I love fresh tomatoes from the garden but I do have to back off them due to the acid. Also when eating Italian I usually go more for the Alfredo than Marinara. We do eat some potatoes however not often. I do think night shade vegetables do cause weight gain and stomach issues which may cause more Inflammation.🤗❤️

Thank you for your answers. I am learning to eat small amounts of tomatoes but have not noticed potatoes giving me much of a problem. .My RA doctor said there isn't much information out that says to not eat them and it is up to the individual on how they are with these items.
Anyways, thank you for sharing.

I read that all nightshade veggies are bad and red meat, gluten, and sugar.

Neither seems to have an effect on me. I try to consume tomatoes in moderation.
