Does Anyone Else Have Burning Mouth Syndrome?

A myRAteam Member asked a question 💭

Since I started using Embrel I've developed this burning mouth syndrome. I cant eat food that's even a little spicy or dring carbonated soda, use mouthwash, etc. I use Biotene toothpaste, mouthwash and the lozenges to help stop the burning sensation but even that doesn't help much. Please help! I'd really like to get back to a normal diet! Thanks for reading.

I got the same thing using enbrel. No white like thrush just really pain full all the time.. I was down to eating yogurt and drinking only very cold water. My dr said it was a reaction to enbrel and took me off. Within 2 week my mouth was back to normal.. Something to talk over with your dr.

I've had thrush off and on and get nystatin when the white patches show up. This burns when thrush isn't present. ENT said it was burning mouth syndrome and thrush when it's present.
