Yes, I retired from my job on a medical pension, and then applied for ss disability and was approved as well. It is a process. I had to use an attorney for ss disability, and my union attorney helped me with my pension. I live in NJ. Good luck.

Yes, your Dr has to put you on disability and not working at all. It takes 5 to 6 months. But you get back from the last day you worked. But you can also apply for insurance, food stamps and money. Hope this helps.💕

Yes I was able to go on disability but it took him quite a while and got to the point where because of the medications I was on and my limitations it took three tries I finally did go on disability
