Has Anyone Experienced Planter Flaitus Due To RA? If So, How Do/dod You Treat It? I Am Having A Horrible Time.
My foot dr.usually puts steroid injections in mine and boy does it hurt when he does it,but it relieves it for a a couple months.he wants to operate .story of my life when I see any drs.my answer is usually No! I can't be out of commission for 6wks or more
I had it a long time ago way before I was diagnosed with RA I went to my Ortho who sent me for PT and I had to get orthotics. It was resolved after a couple of weeks
The frozen water bottle helps a lot. I also use a splint at times.
If your feet are that bad your doctor wants to operate get a second opinion. Also do regular messaging. Also, you might heel faster than you think. I wish you all the best and good luck.
I have a very large bone spur on my heel and chronic plantar fiatius on my left foot it has been swollen for over two months at first I thought that it was the R A but exrays showed that instead and yes it is very painful I am going to do some exercise and stretching they say roll your foot over a frozen water bottle and on a tennis ball massage on your foot is supposed to help so I will let you know
