Take biotin every day and use shampoo with biotin in it. It stopped my hair loss.

I just have to say doctors do not really care if you have hair loss. I was on plaquenil for a couple years my hair got pretty thin in front. He kept saying no its not the plaquenil. My but, I stopped the plaquenil due to serious diarrhea , blessing in disquise dont feel any worse being off of it. Hair is looking better

Omg yes!!!! I doubled my folic acid to 2/day and increased the biotin to 3x /day and that has seemed to slow down the hair loss. Hope this helps and hang in there... it really sucks losing your hair

I used to take Biotin but my hair fell out alot. The Dr. Put me on 3 folic acid a day. I didn't know I could Biotin with it. I do take Collagen with Folic acid. And it is great.

Thank you! Also on Plaquenil (more recent) and just added Arava. Looks like these can also cause hair loss? 😣 I’ve been taking plenty of extra folate but just started taking a biotin supplement this week. Hope it works! Thanks for your help. ❤️
