Members discussed their varied starting doses of methotrexate, with most reporting they began between 7.5 mg and 20 mg weekly, though several emphasized that dosing depends on individual factors like weight, symptoms, and lab results rather than a universal standard. Several members shared practical tips for managing side effects, including splitting doses throughout the day to reduce nausea, taking folic acid daily to help with hair thinning, and combining methotrexate with Humira for better results. A recurring theme was the importance of following your doctor's recommendations while being honest about concerns, with some members expressing hesitation about starting the medication and exploring lifestyle changes like eliminating inflammatory foods as complementary approaches.

I’m on humera and seems to help. The side affects don’t seem to be as bad as some of what I’ve tried. Don’t give up!🌷🌻
