I had to have my knee drained all the time before my knee replacement! I also have ghout! I take allopurinol daily, and have indomethacin in case of a flare up! I have not had any pain or ghout episodes since taking the allopurinol daily. Good luck! The draining sounds so painful, but if ya got a dr who is good, it is painless!! Truly the pressure will be gone in seconds and movement will be much better! God bless!
I am so happy for you!! May your life be pain free and productive!
