I have experienced major hair loss and I've been on Methotexerate for more than 20yrs and my hair texture has changed and it's so dry and terrible. I'm to scared to brush my hair everyday. Have to vacuum all the time they way my hair falls out. Not sure what to do or use as my hair looks terrible.

I've been on Methotexerate for +- 20 yrs and the hair loss and texture is extreme. I'm on 10 which I take every Sunday. Skin also changes , but what can I do that's the only meds that help. Seeing my rheumy on the 22nd February so want to discuss if there's any way I can reduce it. My hair which was so straight is now dry and quite frizzy. Anyhow as long as I can still do certain things of have to thankful for still being mobile as I exercise every day. Stay blessed all and have a great pain free weekend.

I had some hair thinning. The doctor increased the folic acid and it seemed to subside.
