RA can attack organs as well as joints.

Have you been tested for lupus? I have lupus(SLE) & RA. I experience this a lot.

RA and fibromyalgia they go hand by hand they both make you painful and tired.

Hi @A myRAteam Member. That sounds like costochondritis. Ive had that several times. Where the rib connects into the sternum is a joint and can become inflammed and painful. I think it's part of fibromyalgia for me. I had a medrol dose pack it trigger point injection in the trapezius muscle in my upper back to help relieve it. The pain that I get on my side there is no joint and I don't know what caused it except for maybe some inflammation in the area. I hope you find some relief!

Yes. My joints often become tender, hot and red. I went to a new primary care. I explained I had RA. They informed me she did not think I had RA. Offered no help other than it was all in my head. She panted my knee, stopped and felt my knee and ask why my knee was so hot? I looked at her, gave a crooked smile, signed and stood up. She then said "I can feel the heat through your jeans. Why?" I replied "apparently it is because I am a hypochondriac and walked out.
