I’m not on any other drug, just this, so it’s either this drug or the immense stress of last year (or both?). Difficult to find a drug that works, and has side effects that are not worse than the disease itself.

Did the same bad reaction that methatrexate did

I took Sulfasalazine several years ago. Almost all of the hair on my legs fell out and has never grown back. Also lost some hair on my head, a lot more than usual, making my hair thinner even today.

The bad part was the Sulfasalazine was acting like a poison in me. Apparently I was allergic. Just got sicker and sicker until I stopped taking all of my prescriptions and narrowed it down to the Sulfasalazine.

I just saw that I didn’t respond to your problem, I am sorry, As a hairdresser, I know a woman’s hair can be very important. I don’t think the sulfasalzine has bothered my hair at all. It’s not a side effect of the drug. Do u take hydroxychloroquine with it?

My hair suffers greatly from htdroxychloroquine. It sheds a bit but I never lost clumps. But, it feels like straw all the time and does not take color as it once did. When coloring the hair it has become unpredictable. And, it fades quick and a funky color.
