A myRAteam Member asked a question 💭

I get inflammation, but very little i have never had a lot of inflammation in my fingers though i can't wear my wedding rings. Yet my rheumy and gp seems to think because there is little or no inflammation there doesn't seem to be much wrong, yet my fingers hurt and feel like hot needles are being pushed them and the the pads on the end of my fingers are tender as well.

@A myRAteam Member I just googled CBD oil and it comes up with loads of websites you can get it from. I got mine from Supreme Choice online. ('m not in any way affiliated, it's just the one I chose out of all that appeared.) This, as well as most of them, offer a "free trial" sample bottle and just have you pay $5 for shipping. To buy a bottle I think they're around $80. (I discovered that most of them also have it where if you don't read all the fine print, you end up subscribing to automatic refills. So while ordering, you need to look for a little check box to UNcheck for the subscription...unless you want the subscription.) I'm using the tincture at 7 drops twice a day in my hot tea with honey, and that seems to be about right for me. You have to experiment to see what works for you. It seemed to work subtley at first, and I wasn't sure if it was because of that or why I had less pain and stiffness. Then when we went away for a week I didn't take it (forgot it at home) and discovered that it was most definitely working. I've been taking it now for a couple of months, and still have over half the bottle left. Every day it seems like the pain is less and less. I hope this helped.
God Bless

On the subject of CBD oil, you can buy it at any smoke shop. That's what I did because I don't yet know if it will work. $40 for a 1 oz bottle. If I can't stay on @Xeljanz XR then I'll be using it. In the meantime, for those of you who want to buy CBD oil locally - just go to any smoke shop. Amazon is cheaper, though.

I use Turmeric & Ginger And they help with inflammation, I get pill form from Amazon. If you get the Turmeric make sure it has BioPerine also it is the active ingredient in pepper which makes it work better.

@A myRAteam Member I wish I could somehow help you. You sound so much like me (except you have a wonderful husband who is a great gentleman). Presently, I am on 23 medications - half of which are for neurological problems. I have terrible inflammation in my hands, even though I've had my knuckles replaced and thumbs fused. Everyone is different and everyone reacts in such incredibly unique ways. It's remarkable. However - we are all a team of warriors and we all support you and hope that every minute gets better than the last. Be well, my friend!

My inflammation is horrible. It cannot be contained or controlled, and the weather (rain, snow, etc,) just exacerbates swelling immeasurably - as I am certain that it does with you (and where you live). It is a huge factor in the inflammation problem, as is the raw, damp horrible temperatures we endure (or the erratic swings in same), which literally cause our bodies to go bezerk. That said - "[[treatment:Prednisone,:54c18cf0860875d5ac0008aa]],' is the (unfortunately) - only medicine which can effectively and consistently contain and reduce the inflammation in my body. Not ideal, by any stretch, but...everyone needs to manage in their own way. Best of luck to everyone!!!!
