Has Anyone With RA Gotten Blood Poisoning And Told That The RA Caused It. If So Can You Please Share With Me .
Last few months I have had blood poisoning twice and was told it could be the drugs, could be another infection untreated and then last night my sister called me and said that she met a lady with RA and she has had three cases of blood poisoning and her Doc. says its the RA nothing can be done.
I am not willing to accept that RA causes this and can't be cured.

I have had multiple surgeries while on RA medication and NEVER had blood poisoning!!! Two surgeries (June 2016 and June 2017) Neuro stimulator battery replacement (The location of the battery is above my left kidney and my T10 and T11 spine), right heel and forefoot fusion (2014), and right wrist (Dec 2017). All of these surgeries while on Methotrexate and NO BLOOD POISONING!!!
You are so right. Problem finally fixed.
Blood poisoning is caused from infection after surgery. RaA doesn't cause blood poisoning. Your surgeon doesn't want to take responsibility for it.
I've had RA for 20 years. I've had lots of problems but never blood poisoning. It's probably due to surgery.
That's crazy. Sounds like the infections occured due to the surgery not the RA.
