Having trouble with extension 3 weeks post op if total knee replacement. One PT is recommending myofascial release of hamstring. Have you had this done and if so, how was it?

I would try to avoid manipulation. I was in that position after my right knee replacement. I contacted a friend that is an occupational therapist and works with PT. It hurt, but what her Co - Workers recommended was that I lay on the bed in my belly and let gravity pull the knee down and stay in that position 10 minutes several times a day. Also, they had me lay on the bed with a 5lb bag of rice right on my quad
