Elbow Crutches Instead Of Cane

A myRAteam Member asked a question 💭

I'm considering getting Ergobaum crutches instead of using a cane when I'm struggling. I find a cane only helps ease stress when I only have pain in one leg or foot. I won't use a walker.

Have any of you used Ergobaum or other elbow crutches? What about walking sticks? I usually have wrist pain and swelling, but I know any walking aids can aggravate that pain.

I appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you; I appreciate your response. It seems rare that anyone uses anything but canes and walkers. I'm glad to hear it helps you.
