I guess I would have to look up side effects for that specific med. But just as a side note I'm a respiratory therapist and work in a sleep lab. Sleep apnea can cause night sweats too. People don't think about that as often so just thought I would throw that possibility out there.

I also sweat but during the day. My rheumy told me it was due to the RA itself. One of RA symptoms is a low-grade fever which makes you sweat also when your joints are in a lot of pain your skin turns red and warm to the touch. I'd ask ur doctor. Good luck.

Good luck with your study tonight Peggy! Like I said sleep apnea can be one cause but it's not the only one. But this is a good step in helping your overall health anyways. 🙂

@A myRAteam Member I am going for a sleep study tonight actually.....we'll see if they can determine if sweating is part of the sweating. I am more comfortable with the temp cooler than my husband is and I would like to keep the fan on all the time.

I have these waves of intense tingling and stinging in my hands and feet. When one of these waves come, I get hot and sweaty at the same time. Usually it happens at night but sometimes during the day too.
