Biologics
What is the best biologic to take? The shot at home kind (not iv infusion) What would you not recommend as well? I was told today by a second opinion that I was going to need one.
you can try xel janz which is a pill taken once a day. it didn't work for me but it might help you.
Brenda is correct. There is no right answer here. Everyone is different and reacts differently to meds. Many here have had success with MTX. I cannot take it. Others have had success with Enbrel, I can't take that either. Avara did nothing for me, but others it helps. I am on Orencia right now and I guess it's helping, but I have strange side -effects. I'm on the weekly shots. A good friend of mine gets infusions. I cna't do infusions. We're all different.
It also might be trial and error for you, as well. You may go on one thing and after a few months find it's not working and you'll have to try a different one. Talk it all out with your doctor. Ask the pros and cons of each med and pros and cons of injection vs. infusion vs. pills as it pertains to you! Tell your doctor if you really can't do shots yourself. Tell your doctor if you are okay with weekly shots. Lay it all out so you and your doctor come up with a solution for you. Keep an open mind.
Humira worked well for me, for 1/1/2yrs but I'm hurting again. Hope to get some thing soon. Good luck whatever you decide!π
from what i read , there is no best one, everyone responds differently,
