I have had a reduced appetite since starting on Methotrexate in July. It's not that I don't eat - I just generally eat less, and the day after I have taken the medication my appetite is sharply reduced. I've lost about 7 pounds which absolutely needed to happen, actually, but it would be strange to continue to lose weight at this level--highly unusual for me at age 44 to lose weight like this without trying.

Yes, I have loss of appetite, I've lost 18 pounds since July. I am only taking natural Anti-inflammatories, (Ginger, Turmeric/Curcumin, & Bosweilla). I am wondering if the stress of the pain is causing lack of appetite. it seems like my appetite comes back when the pain recedes.

Every now and again after I take the methotrexate I may go without dinner for a few nights. Not nausea to the point of loosing my cookies, just the last thing I would be thinking about is eating. I usually follow it up later with a cheese sandwich or something like that to cushion the blow of the meds.
