Hi everybody, and I have found the very flare foods for me are: milk chocolate, caffeinated drinks and beverages, meat, dairy especially cow milk, sugar and wheat. But the biggest most terrible thing on the planet Earth is.... STRESS!!! If u don't learn some kind of stress management strategy and get control of that, it will not only tear up and flare up Ur RA and other illness- related health issues, it will eventually take the rest of ur system down, down beyond the dark place into death. I have had RA since I was 31. Recently picked up Lupus from an unknown family Donner; got Osteopenia Arthritis around 6 years ago, where I have been told that I have lost 3 inches off of my height. I cannot eat well and lost 55 lbs, also with a heart condition, BUT guys, know what??? I Don't care!!! Why? Bc I have the faith, this confidence to know that FATHER GOD will someday give us all new bodies! I am like everyone here, and have to fight every morning when my feet hit the floor. Last year, I was in 4 dance classes, running across the yard at Lee University n Cleveland, TN, and took care of 4 people as a caregiver, including my mom who recently passed away n March. Worst year of my entire life!!! But it's an ongoing fight, y'all, and we can do this. Don't give up, don't give not the pain. Look for something positive n life everyday. And by the way, remember, everyday is a gift to us from God, and perhaps there r others who r not as strong as we r, to b able to hold on and keep pushing thru. We will make it, guys. We will b ok. We can do this. Chk out the song by Desert called " Gotta Be". Extremely encouraging song, especially first thing n the morning. Gets Ur day started, better than a cup of hot coffee, ( which we DONT Need anyway)! Stay strong, be blessed. 😀

I just started an anti inflammatory diet. Actually i go to a chiropractor for back issues. She suggested it due to my pain level. We are gluten free already. That helped a lot. My guy friend is hypersensitive to gluten. So I do it some. Stop all processed food and snacks. Makes me cook more. I try to take a good day a make several things we can eat for a bit. I been making these really good muffins with applesauce and apple juice. I’ll make several batches. Freeze them. I buy mor frozen and fresh rather than canned. Try to avoid msg.
