Has Anyone Seen An Osteopath? And If So Was It Of Any Help?
My primary doc is a DO. osteopath. I would be in much worse shape if I was not in his care. I have gone to a chiropractor but he was not good with RA and set me in a flare. A gentle approach is better for me.
FredaLittle - Too much adjustment can set me off. So can a deep tissue massage. I have heard from other people that have said the same thing,
For me, the chiro did adjustments all over my body and it was too much at one time. Not everyone is the same,
Being on crutches and non weight bearing I think is what's triggered shoulders / arms etc? :-( Hopefully it'll be under control again soon! Staying positive! :-)
I saw one quite a few years ago I had neck problems following whiplash from a car accident and from someone falling onto me from a trailer I was sceptical at first but it was great I hadn't realised before I saw him that I could only turn my head slightly round when I was reversing the car it was a shock that when I got in the car after the appointment is could turn my head much better. My osteopath was highly recommended make sure you find a good one x
I see an osteopath for hip & bursa injections on my left side. Next time I go, I'm going to include my left knee. It's having issues as a result of the ongoing hip issues. Come on, hip replacement! 😀 But yes, it's such a huge relief after the injections. I'm very pleased my PCP referred me to them. Such a great discovery for me is hugely appreciated!
