I continue to look for a pain specialist in Amarillo,Tx. I do have hydro's and But Ron patch. Still pain is unbearable at times. Especially at night. Any one in Amarillo tx can you recommend a pain specialists? Had one that treated me like a drug seeker.

There is a pain clinic in Amarillo.... Think its called Amarillo pain clinic.
Dr Ice was the head physician last I knrew.... It was off either Coulter or Medi park. I never saw the Dr, just 2 spots with PA. I found out I was allergic to lyrica - made me crazy. Went downhill from there.... I'm allergic to anything but tramadol. No point.
Don't let my bad experience hinder you... Look for one, I thinkj there are others....

I'm from central Texas and sorry I can't help you. I see Austin Pain Associates. That's about an hour and half away. I left them to be closer to home then the doctor here was taking me off all my pain meds so I went back to Austin and they put me back on them because I couldn't walk. I guess they are waiting to see if my RA gets under control before they take me off. They may not though since I have Fibromyalgia and RA and chronic pain. I'm on oxycontin 60mg 2X daily and oxycodone 10mg 3 X daily and my RA meds and anti depressants and neurophaty medication. Been on most for about 11 years except the RA meds. I love my pain specialist. Change till you find someone who cares.

That's terrible, @A myRAteam Member! That's how the dr I switched too acted and said I was overmedicated. I told her that even ón pain pílls, I'm still in pain but she didn't care. I went back to my old Dr. Perhaps change pharmacies? Have a restful night!

My dr prescribes but the pharmacy acts like I am a drug seeker. I just quit asking for pain medication because of the hassle.
