Anyone Tried Quell Relief

A myRAteam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone ever tried the Quell pain relief thingy. It's -$240 , but they have a 60 day trial, so you can return if it doesn't work. It's a bit like a Tens unti, but you strap it right below the knee. Am thinking of trying it out. Am in a very painful flare from extreme stress and I refuse to take any of the heavy duty meds, was on herbs for 6 years which kept me in remission, until my mum broke her hip and artist last summer,

After a spike of work related stress caused a severe remission I bought a quell. I have had bad experiences with RX drugs so I take supplements and OTC pain killers were not touching the extreme pain. Within a half hour of use I noticed some relief in my lower back. Within 2 days I noticed that I was doing common daily things that I would try before quell but stop when they would cause pain (brushing my hair, crossing my legs, opening jars, walking freely up steps). I was doing them with little to no discomfort. The pain keeps reducing the longer I use quell. I can take tylenol or ibuprofen now and actually notice that they help. Quell hasn't gotten rid of my pain entirely but it has gotten rid of it in my back and hips and reduced it in my arms and hands by at least 75%. My pain is manageable now, improving even more, and I am able to do much more than before. I wear it 24/7 and switch legs when the app tells me to. It has been amazing for me.

I was and still am using.. Moducare, turmeric (though i switched to a curcumin brand with black cumin seed oil) boswellia, a natural Cox 2 inhibitor by kal. Called Joint Guard. Fish Oils. MSM powder. I'd start off with one give it a month and then add. I experimented a lot. @A myRAteam Member

Thank you. Might try anyway, since you can get a refund.

I have heard from friends with MS and osteoarthritis that it is crap.

I am recommending it to my brother who has a bad back as well as a back support brace and Caudal injections that my hubby uses. My husband has an old TENS unit and its great for blocking pain.
