Apps For Tracking Meds And Symptoms

A myRAteam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone use any apps for their phone/tablet that they find useful for tracking their meds or symptoms? I'm terrible at taking meds twice a day and was just wondering if anyone had any apps or tips that could be useful.

Thanks

Hi! Have you seen the fitness trackers everyone is sporting these days? I have a FitBit Charge. I originally got it to keep track of the number of steps I take each day and to hopefully push myself to take more. I found the best thing about it is you can set it to vibrate at different times of the day to remind you of tasks. I don't know about you but when I set an alarm on my phone I will shut it off to make it stop and unless I can do what I'm supposed to do - that very minute - I forget! Damn brain fog! 😝. Anyway, the Charge will vibrate several times and then stop but it will keep vibrating in short spurts until you click the button on the side. It's like a nagging friend reminding you to take your pills. It has really helped me! Good luck!

Dischem has some plastic tablet containers, a few sizes with the day's displayed . Some have ones for dif times of the day, Mng, noon and evening. I use these as I sometimes cannot remember whether I have taken my meds😀 I have a separate one for my supplements,. They even have larger ones which I use when traveling

I found one called My RA that you log your Meds, fatigue levels, stiffness, pain points etc. daily so you can discuss with your Dr. at your next visit. Hope that helps.
