Looking For Others Who Live In Canada That Have Been Able To Receive Disability. Also If U Use Alternative Treatments (functional Doctors)
I live in Saskatchewan and have obtained a certificate of disability for income tax purposes. The first one was retroactive for several years, and I got an additional refund from the government. My current one is lifelong.
This made me eligible for a tax credit and reduced my tax payable.
I got a disability certificate completed by my doctor. The first certificate was back dated 2 years and forward dated 2 years. I then had to have another one completed and Revenue Canada approved it and left it as indefinite.
I live in BC, am on CPP disability.....took a year to get this done. I'm just in search of natural ways to get better. Many of the medicine the doctors have prescribed don't work, or the side effects are worse then the pain. Just started the injection.....really scares me. I live in a great area for natural medicines, so that is my mission asap
